In 2012, 1,536 people donated €160,000 allowing the museum to purchase L’Arétin et l’envoyé de Charles Quint at a price of €750,000.

In 2014, 1,300 people donated €315,000 allowing the museum to acquire L’homme au béret noir tenant une paire de gants for €635 000.
